W L Duffield & Sons recognise the importance of quality nutrition for sheep and lambs. A ewe with twin lambs has to work as hard as a high yielding dairy cow and so careful feeding is essential.

The ewes’ nutritional requirements increase greatly in the last two months of pregnancy.

At the same time appetite is restricted as the unborn lambs take up an ever larger space within the ewe.

High quality sheep feeds are therefore essential to ensure optimum birth weights, udder development, milk yield and milk quality from ewes.

Duffields have a range of sheep feeds available in pencil or roll form.

The range is designed to meet the needs of a range of lambing dates and forages fed.

All diets contain a vitamin and mineral pack including  a level of 100 mg of vitamin E

Breeding ewes have a high requirement of vitamins and Minerals for health and fertility

A complementary feed for ewes. Feed with forage. Ewe feeds ARE NOT SUITABLE for feeding to MALE SHEEP, due to increased risk of Urinary Calculi

Clean water must be available
